Secondary school information for children transferring in 2025
Please find information below regarding your child’s transition from primary to secondary school in 2025. The information has been provided by the local authority and is designed to support you in the transition process.
See below for the presentation and information to explain the online application system and answer key questions. We will be holding a meeting for parents/carers on Thursday 2nd May 2025 at 3:330pm in Sapphire class followed by a virtual meeting at 5pm (see email for zoom details)

Some schools have selection tests. A full list of dates for selection tests for Barnet schools can be found attached. Please note that the deadline for registering for an aptitude place at Mill Hill County High School and Ashmole Academy, is Friday 10 May and Friday 17 May, respectively.

A meeting for Year 5 parents was held on Thursday 2nd May 2024 to discuss the transition process for the next academic year. Key information and messages about the secondary school transition process and the online eAdmissions form can be found above.
