Welcome to Year 4
The Year 4 Curriculum Presentation Evening will be held on Wednesday 11th September 3:40 - 4pm in the Year 4 classrooms.
We look forward to meeting parents/carers then.
A copy of the presentation will be uploaded HERE after the meeting.
Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check
Children in Year 4 will be participating in the multiplication tables check in June. The purpose of the check is to determine whether your child can fluently recall their times tables up to 12, which is essential for future success in mathematics.

Year Group Homework
Here we provide details of the homework routine for the Year Group.
Homework is sent out on Thursday and to be returned Tuesday.
- Weekly online Maths homework - Times Table Rock Stars and Mathletics activities
- Daily 20 minutes of reading with an Accelerated Reader quiz to complete after reading each book
- Spelling (linked to weekly spelling lessons).
- Creative home learning grid of activities - shared on Google Classroom on a half termly basis
We will no longer have homework books, but if you require paper, we are happy to supply it.
