This page guides you through the process of applying for admission to Frith Manor,
Children can join Frith Manor in:
- Little Acorns Nursery (2 and 3 year olds)
- Little Oaks Nursery (3 and 4 year olds)
- Reception (the first year of primary education) and the years above
There are different admission procedures for each of these routes, and each procedure is described in the corresponding section below.
Tours of the school for parents & carers of interested in Frith Manor as a school for their children
Parents interested in exploring whether Frith Manor is the right place for their children are invited to book a tour of the school with the Head Teacher or member of the Senior Leadership Team. Tours are usually held at 10.00am and last around an hour, but other arrangements can of course be made.

Admission to Little Acorns (2 & 3 Year Olds Nursery)
Admissions to Little Acorns Nursery for 2-year olds are handled directly by the school.

Admission to Reception and the Years Above
Admissions to Frith Manor Primary School (Reception, Year 1 to Year 6) are handled by Barnet Council.
Reception (start of primary school) Admissions
Our admissions policy is that of the London borough of Barnet, with priority given as follows:
- children in local authority care and children with special educational needs.
- children with brothers and sisters already
- those living in close proximity to the school.
There is one intake per year and children start school in the September before they turn 5. Our waiting list is administered by the London Borough of Barnet (LBB) admissions team. Should you need to apply for a place at any time during the school year you would also contact the LBB admissions team.

The London Borough of Barnet calculate distance to school as:
“Distance is measured in a straight line between the address point for the child’s home, supplied by Ordnance Survey, to the school’s main gate using the Council’s computerised geographical information system”
