Free School Meals Eligibility

Free School Meals Eligibility

Free school meals are now available for all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

However, every family who applies for free school meals for their child because they are from a family on a lower income can unlock up to £1,320 extra funding for their school called Pupil Premium, which must be spent on supporting their development. So even if your child is in Reception, Year 1 or year 2, and will automatically get a free meal, please do still make an application otherwise the school will not know that your child is eligible for additional funding.

Please visit the Pupil Premium page: here for more details.

We are extremely fortunate to have excellent kitchen facilities and currently, well over half of all pupils eat a school meal at lunchtime.   The kitchen staff are extremely friendly and get to know the children well.  We cater for children with specific allergies.
