Admissions

All admissions to Frith Manor Primary School, with the exception of those to the nursery, are handled by Barnet Council. Our admissions policy is that of the London borough of Barnet, with priority given to children in local authority care and children with special educational needs. This is followed by children with brothers and sisters already at the school and then those living in close proximity to the school. There is one intake per year and children start school in the September before they turn 5. Our waiting list is also administered by London Borough of Barnet admissions team. Should you need to apply for a place at any time during the school year you would also contact the LBB admissions team. Parents can apply online at www.barnet.gov.uk or ring the Barnet Schools Admissions office on 020 8359 7651 to request an application form.

There are currently 685 pupils on the school roll.
The application process for nursery places starting in January 2018 and September 2018  is now open. You can print an application form below. Applications are considered in the New Year and successful applicants will be informed before the end of February 2018.

Tours of the school

The Head Teacher shows groups of prospective parents around the school weekly during the first term of the school year and periodically after that. It is essential to book a place. The time of the tour is 9.30am and it lasts around an hour. Tours are usually on a Friday. To book a place please ring Mrs L. The London Borough of Barnet calculate distance to school as:

“Distance is measured in a straight line between the address point for the child’s home, supplied by Ordnance Survey, to the school’s main gate using the Council’s computerised geographical information system”

The map below gives a 'rough' guidance to the catchment area. Please note these boundries should not be taken as final. The decision will be taken by Barnet Council.
