HOUSE POINTS
CURRENT HOUSE CAPTAINS

Points are awarded each week for good behaviour, a piece of work well done, helpfulness etc. At the end of each week, the points are collected by two children who announce the results in assembly. The house captain and vice captain of the winning team are presented with the house cup. Once the ribbons in the wining house colours have been tied on, it is put on display. On Friday afternoon the team that's won have an extra playtime.

MERIT BADGES

Merit badges are awarded to children who have made significant improvements in their achievement, such as overcoming difficulties (e.g. spelling, maths) or simply being a great contributor to their class. Merit badges are distributed every Friday and one child is selected per class.

GOLDEN CERTIFICATES

Golden Stars are children who are awarded a certificate for following the Playground Golden Rules.

The Golden Rules are:

DO
Be gentle
Be kind and helpful
Play well with others
Care for your playground
Listen to people
Be honest
Keep to the playground safety rules

DO NOT
Hurt anyone
Hurt people's feelings
Spoil other people's games
Damage or spoil anything
Interupt
Cover up the truth
Break the playground safety rules
